Child United's effort has reached numerous media outlets and has been spotlighted most
recently for their work during the typhoons in the Philippines.
January 16, 2010- KIRO TV Seattle covered Child United and their effort to raise money
for the disaster in Haiti. A benefit was held at Harambee in Renton.
Founder Christine Umayam and Events Director Donn Castro were
interviewed. 8pm and 11pm newscasts.
January 16, 2010- Reign City, online publication, Muzik for the Soul - Philippines Relief
January 15, 2010- Renton Reporter Newspaper, Benefit in Renton Saturday at
Harambee to aid Haitian quake victims.
Nov. 12, 2009- Northwest Asian Weekly featured Child United on their front page.
