High School Sponsorship for Scholarship Fund
In the Philippines, high school education begins in the 7th grade. The "High School Sponsorship for Scholarship Fund" was created to help students in the 6th grade expand their education. It's a critical age for students, a time for families to decide whether to continue their school work or to stay behind and help put food on the table.

To be considered for this scholarship fund, students must undergo an application process. If chosen, the 6th graders will be officially sponsored by a Child United donor to attend high school.

It costs $0.70 USD cents a day to put a Filipino child through high school. This is often out of reach for families in the Philippines. In USD, this is equivalent to $250 a year to pay for uniforms, books, transportation which are the basic necessities to stay in high school.
To remain in the “High School Sponsorship for Scholarship program,” the student must write their sponsor as well as keep up a high grade point average.

If you are interested in sponsoring a child through this scholarship, please email us at : childunited@childunited.org. We will connect you with a child in need.
